  • November 2024: I successfully defended my thesis at the University of Calgary. The examiners unanimously voted for my thesis to receive the *Best Thesis Award*, recognizing the excellence of my research and contributions.
  • September 2024: I received the *Graduate Students Award for Meritorious Research, Leadership, and Academic Excellence* from the University of Calgary, recognizing my contributions to research, leadership, and academic achievements.
  • July 2024: My paper titled *"ARF-Net: A Multi-Modal Aesthetic Attention-Based Fusion"* was accepted for presentation at the prestigious The Computer Graphics International Conference, held in Geneva, Switzerland. The paper was also accepted for fast-track journal publication. I had the privilege of presenting this work, highlighting advancements in multi-modal aesthetic fusion techniques.
  • May 2024: I represented the Biometric Lab at the "Get Science Done Strategic Plan Launch" in Calgary, Alberta. Purpose: To promote the lab’s research and engage audiences with innovative demonstrations. Responsibility: Organized and managed the lab’s booth, presented research highlights, and facilitated interactive simulations showcasing advancements in biometric research.
  • April 2024: My paper titled *"A Deep Learning Approach for Semantic Similarity Prediction Between Question Pairs Using Siamese Network and Word Embedding Techniques"* was accepted at the International Conference on Computing and Machine Intelligence, held in Michigan, USA. I presented the paper, showcasing a novel deep learning approach for predicting semantic similarity between question pairs.
  • July 2023: I was accpted to participate in International Summer School conducted within the project "Biometrics-Intelligent Solutions"-- in the frames of SPINAKER--International Programmes at Bialystok University of Technology.

  • March 2023: My article "RAIF: A Deep Learning-Based Architecture for Multi-modal Aesthetic Biometric System" has been accepted to Computer Animation and Social Agent (CASA '23) Conference and also got selected as one of the best papers to publish in special issue of Computer Animation and Virtual World Journal.
  • October 2022: Attended (in-person!) and presented my work "Analysis of Human Musical Cognitive Preferences" at 23rd Alberta Biomedical Engineering Conference.
  • October 2022: Represented my lab in Research Night organized by Women in Science and Engineering team of University of Calgary.
  • September 2022: Attended (in-person!) and presented my work " User Identification Based on Musical Cognitive Peferences." at CPSC Showcase '22 organized by Computer Science Department of University of Calgary .
