Leadership roles and Volunteering in University of Calgary community

  1. Graduate Student Representative (Fall '22, Winter '23) - TLSE Committee, CPSC Department, University of Calgary: Collaborated with the TLSE (Teaching and Learning Experience of Students) committee to enhance the teaching and learning experience for students.
  2. Biometric Lab Representative - WISE Research Night, University of Calgary: Represented the Biometric Technologies Lab at the WISE (Women in Science and Engineering) Research Night, a symposium highlighting research conducted by professors on campus. Presented previous and ongoing research projects to the audience, fostering engagement and knowledge sharing in the field of biometric technologies.
  3. Mentor - Schulich Ignite (Fall '22, Winter '23): Volunteered as a mentor for Schulich Ignite, a club at the University of Calgary offering free Python workshops to high school students across Canada. Mentored students in programming and debugging, providing one-on-one support and sharing personal experiences in the technology field.
